Behind the scenes of shoot with Luke Avoledo
THANK YOU INDIE GODS. This shoot was just easy, breezy, beautiful. I'm gonna say this is mainly because Luke Avoledo (insta: @lukeavoledo) was a dream to work with. He is an up and coming photographer/ designer/ creative ingenue who is practically oozing with vision and professionalism. Also shoutout to Emma Cheuk for helping us with the set up and taking bts photos, she made the process so much smoother. Let's talk about the space- Version 1's studios are a grimey/ vintage/ window-lighting-from-the-6th-dimension fantasy. We used the V2 studio, which is also the owner's bedroom by night, and we were able to squeeze a lot of jazz from 4 hours in this space. I wanted to use these shots in every capacity imaginable (as you do on an indie budget) and this shoot delivered on every level. Coming at ya soon.
Stay looking. (Can that be my sign off? I'm going for like thoughtful and demure but is it, in fact, pretentious? Let me know in the comments.)
